Privacy Policy

Automaintainer ("we", "us") operates automaintainer, a service that performs automated maintenance on source-code repositories you connect. This policy explains what data we process and why. We do not sell your data.
Data we process
- Account data — your email and, if you sign in with GitHub, your GitHub username and public profile.
- Repository data — the URLs, names, and configuration of repos you add; commit metadata and run logs produced by maintenance runs. We access repository contents only during a run, using the GitHub token you provide.
- GitHub access token — stored to clone, push, and open pull requests on the repositories you authorize. Used only for that purpose.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We store a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and your plan; we never store full card details.
- Operational logs — run status, timestamps, and diagnostic logs to operate and debug the service. Agent run logs may include code diffs but are scoped to your account.
How we use it
- To provide the service: scheduling and executing maintenance runs on your repos.
- To bill you according to your plan.
- To secure, debug, and improve the service.
- To contact you about your account or service changes.
Third parties
- GitHub — authentication and repository operations. See GitHub's privacy policy.
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies
We use a single first-party authentication cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Retention
We keep account and repository configuration while your account is active. Run logs are retained for operational purposes and pruned over time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the EU GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, export of, or erasure of your personal data. Contact contact.automaintainer@protonmail.com.
Security
Secrets are encrypted; repository access is scoped to the token you provide; runs execute in isolated workspaces. See our Security page for details.
