Terms of Service
Effective June 2026
These Terms govern your use of automaintainer, operated by Automaintainer. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
automaintainer runs automated maintenance agents against repositories you connect — opening pull requests with changes. You remain responsible for reviewing and merging changes; you control whether auto-merge is enabled per repository.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including the GitHub token you provide and the repositories you authorize.
- You must have the right to authorize automated changes to the repositories you connect.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to process repositories you do not control or have permission to modify.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for abuse, or overload the service or its workers.
Plans & billing
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled.
- Plan limits (repositories, workers, daily runs) apply as described at signup.
- You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Automated changes may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing pull requests before merging. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Automaintainer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or repository integrity arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
